Xuemeng Fitch is our associate attorney and focuses her practice on Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy. She received a Bachelor of Arts with honors in Pre-Law from Michigan State University in 2011 and earned her Juris Doctorate from Emory University School of Law in 2015. At Emory Law, Xuemeng was as a managing editor for the Emory Bankruptcy Developments Journal, the only student-run bankruptcy journal in the nation. By serving on the journal, Xuemeng had the opportunities to work closely with professors and practitioners on consumer bankruptcy matters. During law school, She gained extensive legal experience interning at the Virginia Attorney General’s office in Richmond, the Fulton County District Court, and The Home Depot corporate department in Atlanta. Xuemeng is currently an active member of the Virginia State Bar.
Xuemeng is bilingual in Mandarin Chinese and English. She was born and raised in Beijing, China until she was 18 before moving to the United States. Aside from studying and practicing law, in her spare time Xuemeng enjoys trying out recipes from different countries, hanging out with her cat Lulu, and traveling with her family.
