Should Student Loan Debt Be Dischargeable in Bankruptcy?

Student loan debt was estimated at $1.2 Trillion in 2013, with 6.7 million borrowers at least 90 days delinquent.  Student loan debt is the second largest form of household debt behind mortgages - higher than credit cards. 

That being said, student loan debt is not dischargeable in bankruptcy.  President Obama has proposed new legislation to change that - should the bankruptcy code be amended?  Read more below!
