Hampton Roads Legal Services, (the “Firm”), may acquire and collect non-public personal information about clients and former clients in the course of providing legal services.  Such information may be obtained from the client; may be generated as a result of the services provided; or may be received from third parties involved in, or affiliated with, the services provided.

It is the policy of the Firm to not disclose, nor does the Firm reserve the right to disclose, any non-public personal information about clients or former clients, except as permitted or required by law.  Furthermore, all client information will be kept confidential in accordance with the highest standards of attorney-client confidentiality.

The Firm restricts access to non-public personal information to those employees who need to know that information to provide the applicable services.  The Firm maintains physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard the non-public personal information of clients and former clients.
