Debts that Bankruptcy Does Not Discharge

Some debts cannot be discharged in a bankruptcy.  The types include:

  • child support
  • alimony
  • most student loans
  • some federal income taxes
  • all employer withholding taxes

The debtors wrongful conduct may also make some debts non-dischargable.
