Buried deep within a article about enhanced security checks for people flying within the United States is a scary statement, "an update about the T.S.A.’s Transportation Security Enforcement Record System, which contains information about travelers accused of “violations or potential violations” of security regulations, warns that the records may be shared with “a debt collection agency for the purpose of debt collection.” The TSA has the ability to access many records from a variety of sources such as car registration and employment information. This means that if you fly some where in the United States, your employment information could be turned over to a debt collection agency which could lead to a garnishment of your wages.

If you are being harassed by collection agents, I can make them stop. Contact me or call my office today at 757-320-2010 to schedule a free consultation about how bankruptcy can get debt collectors off your back.
